Lightning Lane recommendations #

There are no tiers at animal kingdom so just pick the ones that are most important to you.

Rope drop #

  • Early park hours: flight of passage
  • Safari: first thing after passage

Individual Lightning Lanes and Thoughts #

  • Flight of Passage: A lot of people say this is an exceptional ride, a sort of plused Soarin’, and it’s near impossible to get on without paying for it unless you Rope Drop it, but then you’re sacrificing one of the other Tier 1s.

Are Lightning Lanes necessary for DAK? #

Ruling: Honestly, no. There are times when the Safari has next to no line, so that’s not strictly necessary. Run to Na’vi River Journey and do the Safari when you can fit it in. If anything, pay for the Flight of Passage, and call it a day.
