Pillars Introductory Post
Kas -In previous posts detailing how we plan our Disney trips, I’ve mentioned spreadsheets that I’ve created. I have three of these spreadsheets for every park: Attractions/Rides/Shows, Food and Restaurants, and Merchandise. These spreadsheets break each park down by their neighborhoods and detail what can be found within that category in said neighborhoods. It is often as simple as a bulleted list with my—typically, admittedly, scatter-brained—reflections or thoughts on the matter.

Trip Report #8: Where Old Meets New: Pop Century, Grand Floridian 2/27/25-3/2/25
Kas -This was a unique trip. It was simultaneously full of familiar favorites—multiple trips around the Peoplemover—and exploding with experiments. There were a lot of new things I, personally, was planning to try on this trip. We went to Monsieur Paul’s and I ate food I’d never even heard of before. We tried the new restaurant at the Poly: the Wailulu Bar and Grill.

Trip Report: #7: The Crumbling of the Pillars: A Master Lesson in Being Adaptable: Animal Kingdom Lodge - 8/5/24-8/12/24
Kas -This trip was full of firsts! We went with friends instead of family. We went with my husband’s best man from our wedding, his wife, and their daughter. On top of this, we stayed at a resort we haven’t stayed at before: Animal Kingdom Lodge. We also booked a coveted Value One-Bedroom, so we were back to staying in a one-bedroom for the first time in a year
